Course Description
Video Production II is an intermediate level class that will take the basic skills from the Introduction to Video Production course and move the student into a more technological and advanced area of video production. This course will focus on the concepts and process of documentary production, with a strong emphasis on film style video production. Students will become introduced to digital video and non-linear editing. The exploration of documentary theory and script writing will be studied. Students will become exposed to a wide variety of foreign and domestic films to develop a critical eye for the production process, technique, and critiques.Note: Additional materials beyond those covered by course or lab fees will be required. See course syllabus for a list of materials and approximate costs.
