Course Information
Course Description
This course is designed to teach students how to engage in a comprehensive career planning process. The course focuses primarily on the exploration phase of this process. Students will use various assessments, in class activities and assignments to understand their interests, values, personality type, skills and experiences as related to career identification. Students will use information about the world of work, identify and examine career clusters or job families, occupational trends, and education and training requirements. Note: Students are expected to synthesize what they have learned and develop a career plan at the end of the course.
