Course Description
ESL 60 is for students who have acquired high level of English Language skills. In this course, students will practice following multi-step instructions, be introduced to high frequency idioms, participate in collaborative learning activities, and present short speeches or oral reports on familiar and unfamiliar topics. Students will be applying their language skills using such topics as Self Management and Improvement, Personal Finance, Health and Consumer issues, and Civic Responsibilities.Prerequisite: Student should have the appropriate score on the state mandated ESL exam and/or teacher recommendation.
