Course Description

This course is a continuation of High Beginning Level 3.1. This course is for students who are able to ask and answer simple questions related to survival needs and basic social situations. They should have some control of very basic grammar structures, intonation and speaking pace and rhythm; and also be able to use basic reading strategies to read adapted reading materials as well as write simple notes, messages and short paragraphs using present tense and past tense with correct punctuation.Prerequisite: Student should have the appropriate score on the state mandated ESL exam and/or teacher recommendation.
