This certificate prepares graduates for entry-level positions in web design, web media design, web front-end development, and interaction design in almost all industries. It also enables individuals working in graphic design, marketing and/or information technology to advance their marketability at their current positions. The certificate provides students with the knowledge and skills to create visually appealing websites with effective site structure, intuitive navigation and beneficial contents. The curriculum focuses on combined strengths in graphic design, coding and use of software/apps. Students learn how to design and maintain websites to meet the needs of both their clients and users, as well as how to work as liaison between visual designers and web back-end developers to solve design challenges.
