Course Description

This course is designed to give the student a basic understanding of the mechanical concepts behind mechanical drives. Students will demonstrate installation, alignment, and troubleshooting of belt, chain, gear, and multiple shaft drives. Safety and cleanliness will be emphasized.

Prerequisite(s): College Reading and Writing Readiness or DSP2 or higher or ELI Accuplacerscore of 221 or higher or ELI 103, ELI 104, ELI 110 or ENG 108 (all C or better) AND Basic Algebra Readiness.
