Course Description

This course introduces students to particle kinematics (rectilinear and curvilinear); Newton's laws; energy, work, and momentum methods; planar dynamics and rigid bodies; rigid body kinematics; impulse and momentum; and vibrations. Application to engineering structures and mechanical systems emphasized. This course is designed for students interested in the Engineering Transfer curriculum.Note: Students may not receive credit towards graduation for both EGR 225 and EGR 221.
