Course Description

This course provides an overview of various forms of business structures; including sole proprietorships, partnerships and corporations as well as other forms of business. Additional topics covered include the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), leases, secured transactions and the laws administered by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The student will learn how to draft documents that are important to these fields of law. Note: LGL 222 and BUS 222 are cross-listed.
