Course Information
Course Description
This course (formerly WLD 171) will present welding theory, safety, care of equipment, skill development and application with the oxy-fuel process. Students will study and practice fusion welding, brazing, and conditioning techniques. Various thermal cutting processes including oxy-fuel, plasma, carbon-arc and laser will be studied and practiced. Opportunity to practice and work with steel, cast iron, aluminum, and stainless steel will be presented.Note: Student must furnish basic required PPE.
